my facetmobile plan:

  • set up a claude repo that generates geometry from a edgelist in python
  • set up the pipeline to take the edgelist and generate:
    • blender visualisation
    • flight characterisation (openVSP)
    • point loading (calculix)
    • fluid dynamics (xflr5 / openfoam)
    • cutlists

Then sit there and talk at claude until i have a very tempting cutlist of pieces, then send it off to china to get chopped up.

the plan would be to make it out of a monocoque (like university teams do f1 tubs), using aluminum honeycomb panels (1m aluminum facing, 20mm honeycomb) and bonded joints. that way you need fuck all internal triangulation (use bulkheads for the internal loads) and lots of space inside. It also means that construction is insanely quick.

I'd also design it for distributed propulsion (4 t-motor class UAV motors and a battery pack initially, some kind of brushless high voltage generator later on).
